ABOUT US

Since 1996, Doc's Computers have been providing superior computer products and service. Besides selling custom-built "Touch" computers and accessories, Doc's prides itself on offering troubleshooting and repair services on the premises. No more waiting to have your computer shipped out of town. In fact, they strive to repair every computer the same day it comes in. Docs have a help website (www.docscomputers.com, click on free help) that offers all users free assistance when they need it and Doc's computers are covered by 24-hour phone support.

Doc has built a finely-tuned team of computer specialists and staff members, including technician Alaine Fortier

Doc is the first to admit that they don't sell the cheapest computers in town, and he refuses to stock discount hardware. There is no substitute for money when buying quality and reliability. Holloway is a firm believer in clones, computers that can be easily upgraded using standard, readily available parts. This is because computer technology changes so quickly and it is frustrating to have to buy a new tower to play a game that requires just a little more power. Doc's sell superior quality systems built by  "Touch" using Pentium and Athlon processors backed by a three year warranty. One of their pet peeves are the so-called lifetime limited warranty? ...If a single $ .50 component has a lifetime warranty you can legally advertise a limited life-time warranty. Doc's warranty is three years on everything. Company like Asus, Samsung and Philips provide extended coverage and backup to insure that all systems give first class value.

Doc, a former chemist and entertainer has seen many changes in computer technology, and all for the better. The most significant change in his mind is better value. You can now get a high quality, fully optioned processor for half the price of a couple of years ago. "I'm extremely frugal, always looking for better value for our customers."

If "Doc" could give only one piece of advice to users, it would be to ensure they have proper protection against hackers, virus and spyware. "Anyone who doesn't have current quality anti-virus and firewall protection is risking doom and destruction.
